Inventory Move

The source location and destination location are limited

to the downloaded location list.

If item data was downloaded, item numbers are validated

and invalid values are not allowed.

If inventory data was downloaded, inventory information

is validated for all applicable values (serial, lot, expiration

date, quantity, and unit of measure). If the inventory is not

found in the downloaded data, invalid values are not

allowed (i.e., you are not allowed to move inventory that

is not found in the downloaded data). If the inventory is

found in the downloaded data, but the quantity being

moved exceeds the on hand quantity for the inventory, a

warning message appears, but allows you to override the

warning and move the amount.

If inventory data is not in the downloaded data, then

inventory information is not validated and all values are

accepted for the inventory detail (serial, lot, expiration

date, unit of measure, as per the downloaded UOM list)

and the move is processed.
