Printing and Previewing Location and Item

Labels

To preview and print bar code labels for inventory item data and for loca-

tion data, please follow the steps below.

1. Select Reports Command Tab > Barcodes Command Set > Barcodes

Selection from the Command Tab Bar. The Bar Code Labels form

appears.

2. In the Label Type portion of the form, select a label type. A list of pre-

formatted labels for this type appears to the right in the Label List por-

tion of the form.

Location: edit location labels for a specified label size in the label

printing software.

Item #: edit item number labels for a specified label size in the label

printing software.

Item #/Description: edit item number and description labels for a

specified label size in the label printing software.

Item #/Location: edit an existing item number/location label for a

specified label size in the label printing software.

3. From the Label List, select the label format for which you want to pre-

view/print the labels.

4. Click the Do It button found along the bottom of the form to print the

selected label.

5. The Select Records form appears. The records for the selected label

type are included in the form.

The records available for label printing are found in the record list por-

tion of the form. Use the Shift key or the Ctrl key on the keyboard to

select the records for which you want to print labels.

To select all records, mark the Select All check box found in the Select

Records To Print portion of the form.

If you are using multiple sites, you may select records by site. To select

a site, click the drop-down arrow in the Site field found in the Select

Records To Print portion of the form and select the site from the sys-

tem site list.

Enter the amount of each label that you want to print in the Qty field

found in the Select Records To Print portion of the form.

6. To preview the selected label or labels, click the Preview button found

along the bottom of the form.
